On Thursday 4th and Friday 5th June 2026, The Amplification Project hosted the Amplification and Everyday Life Conference at the University of Huddersfield, featuring a varied programme which explored interdisciplinary approaches to the theme of ‘amplification’.

We were also pleased to welcome five artists who presented Unearthed: a showcase of new electronic music and sound art in the form of installations and performances curated by Yorkshire Sound Women Network.

We are delighted that both events were such resounding successes, which is a credit to all involved in the planning, organisation and delivery. A big thank you to our speakers, artists, project team, internal teams and external partners for their roles in bringing this together.
