Paul Blakeman is a Sheffield-based sound engineer, producer, and technologist with over 30 years of experience spanning analog and digital audio systems. Beginning his career in iconic studios FON (Sheffield), Paul developed deep expertise in reel-to-reel technologies, later founding Club 60 Studios. His work includes studio collaborations with major & local artists, touring as FOH engineer and tour manager, and teaching as an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. A passionate advocate for analog sound, Paul combines hands-on technical knowledge with academic inquiry, positioning him uniquely to explore the cultural and technical significance of analog recording in contemporary music practice.
