Nigel is a film music composer and founding member of In The Nursery, a Sheffield-based band known for cinematic soundtracks. He’s a passionate sound designer with a focus on binaural recordings, notably used in APRIRSI to support dementia care. His research includes a co-authored article in the Journal of Music Therapy(2018) and a chapter on Watership Down in a 2023 academic collection. Nigel also co-founded and serves as Music Director of the Sensoria Music & Film Festival, where his work helps to foster dialogue between musicians, filmmakers, and audiences, positioning Sensoria as a leading space for creative collaboration and sonic exploration.
