Luke’s research examines amplification and effects as collaborative agents in writing, performing, and producing music, with a keen interest in how we approach creative experimentation, and our relationship with technology. Luke holds a BSc in Sound Design from London South Bank University, where he explored expressive tangible interfaces for musical performance, and an MSc in Creative Technology, focusing on interactive multimedia art, multi-sensory installations, and creative coding. He later completed an MSc in Human Computer Interaction, extending his expertise in programming, multi-sensory interaction, and user experience. A qualified Computer Science teacher (PGCE, QTS), Luke has several years of teaching experience across undergraduate and masters levels. Beyond academia, he has been a musician for 25 years, performing live, producing electronic music, and building experimental software and hardware instruments.
