Take part in our Disruption to Amplification in Live Music research survey

As part of the Amplification Project, Dr Gabrielle Kielich and Dr Owen Coggins are investigating what happens when amplification is disrupted, breaks or goes wrong during live music.
If you’ve ever witnessed a PA stop working or a guitar amp cut out in the middle of a concert, we’d like to hear all about it.
The purpose is to understand the impact of amplification technologies and amplified sound upon musical practice and public life.
If you’ve ever experienced an incident like this at any type of live music event, whether it was at an arena, club, bar, festival or anywhere else (as an audience member, performer, technician or in any other capacity), we’d love to hear about it in this survey:
Disruption to Amplification in Live Music – Fill in form.
The responses can be about recent incidents or from longer ago, and you can fill in a separate survey sheet for each occasion.
The survey will take around 10-15 minutes to complete. And please feel free to send the link to anyone else who might have a relevant story!
